Stories and Scones
This daily tour commences at 2pm each day; participants gather or meet in the main foyer by the fireplace.
It begins with the audience seated in lounge chairs listening to the story of Harry Corones. It develops into how he happened to build the Corones Hotel and his influence in the community.
The tour then becomes mobile and visits the various areas of the complex. Stories are told of the many famous guests and their exploits. There are tales of murder, decadence and love in what was a prosperous era in the region.
It concludes with tea, coffee and freshly made scones in the dining room where a few anecdotes are told. The tour runs for about 2 hours.
